Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we do not, and how to tell us to stop.

This is a publication, not a platform. We do not run accounts, we do not sell anything directly, and we collect as little about you as a website reasonably can.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to aiartgentools.com and the pages published on it. It does not cover the websites of the tools we write about. Once you follow a link away from here, that company's own privacy policy governs what happens next.

Information you give us

The only way to send us personal information directly is to email us. If you write to [email protected], we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with the matter and to keep a record of any correction we made as a result. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, and we do not pass those messages to anyone else.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical details when a page is served: the request itself, the approximate origin of the request, the browser and device type reported by your software, and the time. These records exist to keep the site available and secure and are not used to build a profile of you.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand which pages are read and how people move between them. Analytics tells us things like "this comparison page is read far more than that one" so we can decide what to write next. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors or to combine analytics data with any other source.

Analytics may set a cookie or use similar browser storage to distinguish one visit from another. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or global privacy signal, we ask our analytics provider to respect it.

Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small files a site can store in your browser. This site uses them sparingly:

We do not use cookies for advertising networks, retargeting, or cross-site tracking. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site will continue to work normally, though the cookie notice may reappear.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. Following one may pass a referral identifier to the destination so that a purchase can be attributed to us, and may result in a commission at no additional cost to you. What that company then records about your visit is governed by its own privacy policy, which we would encourage you to read.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers who make the site work — hosting, content delivery, analytics, and email — and only to the extent those services need it in order to function.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have specific statutory rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, and portability. We will honour a valid request of that kind regardless of where you are, and we will not charge you for making one.

Children

This site is written for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the systems that publish it is limited to the people who edit it. No website can promise perfect security, but we hold as little as possible precisely so there is little to lose.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — a new analytics provider, a new category of cookie — we will update this page and describe the change here rather than replacing the text silently.

Contact

Questions about privacy, or a request relating to your data, can be sent to [email protected]. Our editorial approach and affiliate disclosure are described in full on our story, and the terms governing use of the site are set out in the legal terms.
